I'm a Computing Science and Business student at the University of Alberta, passionate about business strategy, technology, and using data to create community impact. I aspire to tell meaningful stories and build solutions as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer.
With a foundation in prescriptive analytics, operations management, statistics, and databases, I have experience with business analysis, mathematical modelling, and software development. Over the years, I've worked with several organizations in the public and private sector, contributing strategic marketing, business intelligence, and technical insights.
Most recently, as a Data Analytics and Research Intern at Aga Khan University, I led a scoping review on the use of AI in early childhood education and conducted mixed-methods analysis on healthcare data. I took initiative to migrate data workflows from SPSS to Python, improving efficiency by 50% and cutting manual effort by 30%.
Volunteerism and community impact are some of my other passions. I have built and led several initiatives, including co-founding the Business Club and a Junior Achievement Company. I've contributed to local, regional, national, and international initiatives in global development, economic empowerment, youth leadership, and more. Currently, I serve as the Marketing Strategist for Global Encounters, an international festival to celebrate arts and sports in Dubai.
Outside of academics and volunteering, I enjoy an active lifestyle: going to the gym, biking, and kickboxing.

Website Development and Graphic Design for Write with Preeti
Write with Preeti is seeking to establish a strong online presence through a comprehensive website that effectively showcases Preeti's writing, facilitation services, and online courses. The current lack of a centralized platform limits the ability to reach potential clients and students. The goal of this project is to design and develop a user-friendly, visually appealing website that highlights Preeti's expertise and offerings. The website should include sections for biography, writing samples, detailed descriptions of facilitation services, an overview of available online courses and testimonials (these pages have been roughly drafted on Squarespace). The project will require the application of web development skills, particularly experience with SquareSpace, to create a responsive and engaging site that is browser and mobile friendly. Graphic design would be an asset to personalise the site and offer guidance on strengthening the brand aesthetic. If time allows, the selected candidate will also be asked to ensure the website is optimized for search engines and provides a seamless user experience across different devices.
