The Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program, facilitated by Centennial College's School of Community and Health Studies, is one of the first graduate certificate programs of its kind in Canada. As such, it enjoys a respected national and international reputation and is recognized by leading employers. The Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program will prepare students to promote the total well-being of individuals and groups within corporate and community contexts. If you have a health and wellness related project, bring on one or more students to be your interns for 14-weeks to help. Students are available for 462 hours of placement over 14 weeks, beginning January 2025. The placements are on an unpaid basis. This experience immerses learners in the practical application of engineering design principles, focusing on sustainable practices and multidisciplinary collaboration. Participants will leverage their skills in CAD software, project management, and technical communication to tackle real-world engineering challenges. By engaging in hands-on projects, learners will refine their ability to define problems, develop optimal design solutions, and integrate sustainability into their engineering decisions. This experience is designed to bridge classroom knowledge with industry-relevant projects, preparing learners to contribute effectively to engineering teams.

This experience connects second-year software engineering students with industry professionals to apply their classroom knowledge in a practical setting. Learners are equipped with skills in software life cycle management, project planning, and software testing, enabling them to contribute effectively to real-world projects. By engaging in this experience, companies can benefit from fresh perspectives and innovative solutions while providing students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a professional context.

This experience is designed for learners who have been introduced to human resource practices in Canada, focusing on enhancing organizational performance, productivity, and profitability. Participants will have a foundational understanding of key HR functions such as diversity management, recruitment, training, compensation, and employee rights. By applying their classroom knowledge, learners can contribute to real-world projects that improve HR processes and strategies, benefiting both the learners and participating employers.
