Details
Build a web-based platform that uses AI and custom logic to guide emotionally intelligent workplace conversations, surface hidden communication issues, and improve organizational trust. The system must integrate user profiling, structured prompts, response tracking, and analytics dashboards to monitor interpersonal communication quality. Students will learn to architect and deploy a real-world SaaS product that leverages AI, backend logic, and UX design to solve a critical workplace problem. They'll gain hands-on experience with natural language processing, API integration, secure data handling, and ethical AI use. I will meet bi-weekly via Zoom and be available for feedback and documentation review. I am hoping from support from organization for knowledge on deploying these tools and knowledge.
Deliverables
User login system – So employees and admins can securely access the platform with their own accounts. Video-chat based Conversation module + End of conversation prompts – A video chat system that will be used for the two parties to interact within the organization plus feedback prompts following calls Scheduling system/scheduling integration - For scheduling calls and placing it on external calendar with API such as google or microsoft calendar (typical of organizations) Profile-based logic (pulled from EQ Stat profiles backend) – The system will adapt conversation styles based on user profiles (like personality, communication style, etc.). Tracking and history – A backend that stores conversation logs, progress, and feedback so patterns and trends can be analyzed. Insights dashboard – A visual summary for admins (like HR) to see communication health, common issues, or improvement areas across the team. Instructions and documentation – So future developers (or your team) can understand how to use, maintain, or upgrade the system. Optional: prototype integration with Slack or internal messaging tools
